Faith is very important to the Christian faith. Prayer requires faith. God wants us to trust Him. Below are Bible verses about Prayer and Faith.  

We cannot receive anything from God if we keep doubting. Trusting God with the whole of our hearts is a key in praying effectively. We must believe that He hears us when we pray, just like he said he would.

The following verses are presented in the New Living Translation (NLT) and King James Version (KJV) of the Bible.

1. James 5:15

And their prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make them well. And anyone who has committed sins will be forgiven.

2. Matthew 21:22

If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.” 

3. John 14:13-14

And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. vs 14. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

4. Mark 11:24

Listen to me! You can pray for anything, and if you believe, you will have it. 

5. John 16:23

And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.

9. Matthew 16:19

And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

10. Matthew 17: 19-21

Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?17:20
And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.
